Eligibility Criteria for NBP Altemaad Islamic Banking Jobs 2026
Required Education
- You need at least a bachelor’s degree (graduation) from a university or institute recognized by the HEC of Pakistan.
- A Master’s degree or an Islamic Banking certificate, degree or Diploma is a plus.
Required Experience
- At least 1 year of work in banking.
- At least 6 months of that must be in branch operations.
Other Skills
- Good knowledge of branch operations, general accounts and SBP (State Bank of Pakistan) rules.
- Good analytical skills.
- Strong communication and time management skills.

Responsibilities For NBP Altemaad Islamic Banking Jobs 2026
- Look after all daily work of the branch and follow all rules, including KYC and AML checks.
- Make sure the branch follows banking laws and Shariah rules in all jobs and tasks.
- Open accounts smoothly within the set time and check all documents.
- Check and approve daily financial and non-financial transactions.
- Make sure the branch and cash vaults are opened and closed on time.
- Review and check the balance of vaults, tokens, taxes, payables, receivables, fixed deposits, call deposits, remittance instruments, and other accounts.
- Review suspense, parking and clearing accounts and report any problems to the Branch Operations Manager.
- Handle inward and outward clearing smoothly.
- Support other team members with customer transactions during busy days.
- Handle customer questions and complaints quickly and politely.
- Keep high standards of customer service at all times.
- Check that all income and expenses are correct and balanced at the end of each day.
- Keep all records and documents safe and ready for audits.
- Make sure all work is finished within the set time.
- Do any other work given by your supervisor.
