The Islamabad Capital Territory has announced Islamabad Police jobs 2026 under the Ministry of Interior and Narcotics Control, which were advertised for the first time in Islamabad, with a total of 1588 Islamabad police jobs 2026. 1. ASI- Assistant Sub-Inspector (BS-11)

• Total Vacancies: 223
• Minimum Qualification: BA/BSc degree or equivalent from a recognised university.
• Age limit: 18 to 25 years for fresh candidates.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum Height: For males, 5 feet & 7 inches, and for females, 5 feet & 2 inches.
• Chest: 33×34 1/2 inches for men only.
• The candidates shall have to pass the endurance test (1 Mile run in 7 minutes for males and in 10 minutes for females).

2. Constable – General Cadre (BS-07)

• Total Vacancies: 1334
• Minimum Qualification: Matric or equivalent from a recognised university.
• Age limit: 18 to 25 years for fresh candidates.

• Minimum Height: For males, 5 feet & 7 inches, and for females, 5 feet & 2 inches.
• Chest: 33×34 1/2 inches for men only.
• The candidates shall pass the endurance test (1 Mile run in 7 minutes for males and in 10 minutes for females).

3. Constable – Band Staff Male ( BS-07)

• Total Vacancies: 22
• Minimum Qualification: Matric or equivalent from a recognised university, and expertise in related musical instruments.
• Age limit: 18 to 25 years.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum Height: For males, 5 feet & 7 inches.
• Chest: 33×34 1/2 inches.
• The candidates shall pass the endurance test (1 Mile run in 7 minutes for male candidates).

4. Constable – Mounted Police (BS-07)

• Total Vacancies: 9
• Minimum Qualification: Matric or equivalent from a recognised university, and expertise in horse riding. Also, knowledge of Zeen and other equipment used for horse riding.
• Age limit: 18 to 25 years.

Physical Requirements

• Minimum Height: For males, 5 feet & 7 inches, and for females, 5 feet & 2 inches.
• Chest: 33×34 1/2 inches for men only.
• The candidates shall pass the endurance test (1 M1-mile in 7 minutes for males and in 10 minutes for females).

General Instructions

• Apply within 15 days of the job posting date for Islamabad Police Jobs 2026.

Note: At the final medical stage, you will be disqualified if it is determined you have Hepatitis B or C, or other long-term illnesses. It is advisable to go to a government/district hospital and get checked before you do any of the tests.

Candidates shall have to produce the following original certificates and documents at the time of the interview:

• Original CNIC issued by NADRA.
• Original academic certificates.
• Domicile certificate.
• 02 passport photographs with a blue background.
