Eligibility Criteria
Required Education
- You must have a 4-year Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Cyber Security, Information Security, or Electrical / Electronics Engineering from an HEC-attested institution.
Required Experience
- At least 2 years of work experience after finishing your degree.
- This experience should be in Information Security, IT, Database Administration, or Network Device Administration, at a well-known organization.
- It will be a plus point if you have an IBM Security certification or badge.
- Certificates like CySA+ or Data+ will also be preferred.

Responsibilities
- Setting up and managing IBM Guardium tools, which monitor database activity and protect it.
- Installing small programs (called agents) on database servers to collect logs.
- Keeping the Guardium system updated and its license renewed on time.
- Watching for any unusual or risky activity happening in the database.
- Studying data to find and organize sensitive information, so it can be protected properly.
- Checking all database activity, especially by users who have special access.
- Looking at data logs to find risks and prevent problems before they happen.

- Learning new tools and technologies, and working well with other departments.
