Responsibilities of General Banking Officer NBP Jobs
- Manage and handle all front and back-office banking transactions efficiently.
- Manage and handle remittance-related activities.
- Open and maintain customer accounts.
- Monitor inoperative and dormant accounts, and address unclaimed account holders as needed for General Banking Officer NBP Jobs.
- Process online remittances and transactions in line with internal SOPs and prudential regulations.
- Oversee inward and outward clearing processes.
- Manage ATM claim settlements and maintain related records.
- Handle cash management duties as assigned.
- Process and manage term deposits, including issuance, payments, and TDR balancing.
- Ensure operational and front-office activities are carried out appropriately.
- Assist Operations Managers in promoting/selling products and services such as traveler’s cheques, savings bonds, money orders, and cashier’s cheques.
- Scrutinize daily transaction vouchers and maintain hard copies for a proper audit trail.
- Issue receipts for customer payments.
- Verify, calculate, and post accounts receivable data and general ledger–related entries.
- Generate financial reports at defined intervals.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
