1. Deputy Director (Database Security)
- Maximum Age: 44 Years
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s (4 Years) in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, and Information Security or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university. A Master’s in the same subject will be preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 6 years of technical hands-on experience in the administration, management, and security of databases such as Oracle, MSSQL, PostgreSQL, etc.
2. Assistant Director (Database Security)
- Maximum Age: 37 Years
- Educational Qualification: Bachelor’s (4 Years) in Computer Science, IT, Cybersecurity, Information Security, or Electrical/Electronics Engineering with a relevant IS certification or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university.
- Experience: Minimum 2 years post-qualification experience in Database Administration, Database Security, and Database Analytics using DAM or SIEM tools.

Job Responsibilities for Deputy Director
- Develop a plan and assess database security requirements for each application and apply monitoring and protection solutions.
- Installation, configuration, and setup of Guardium appliances for database activity monitoring and protection.
- Work on planning, design, implementation of Database Auditing and Monitoring, Guardium Appliance Sizing and Architecture, User Management, Policy, Alert and Report Definition and Management, and Guardium Life Cycle Management.
- Timely patching of Guardium appliances and renewal of the license.
- Generate vulnerability assessment reports for timely patching and resolution by DBAs and system administrators.
Job Responsibilities for Assistant Director
- Installation, configuration, and setup of Guardium appliances for database activity monitoring and protection.
- Installation of Guardium agents on database servers with the necessary configurations for the collection of logs.
- Timely patching of Guardium appliances and renewal of the license.
- Monitor and evaluate database incidents through the IBM Guardium data monitoring and protection tool.
- Perform data discovery and classification with all stakeholders in order to prioritize the implementation of the security solution.
- Monitor and audit all database activity, including privileged user activity.
