Academic Requirements
- Minimum 62.5% marks (annual system) or 2.5 CGPA out of 4.0 in all subjects from an HEC-recognized university, as a regular student.
- No 3rd Division or Grade D, and only one 2nd Division / Grade C in the whole academic career (Matric to MA/MSc/BS).
- MPhil, MS, and PhD holders are given preference.
- A 4-year degree in the given discipline is required.
- A Master’s in Psychology obtained through private or distance learning is not accepted.

The selection process for Pakistan Army DSSC Jobs 2026 has six stages.
- Registration and fee deposit. Pay the registration and examination fee at the NBP GHQ Branch as given in the official ad, and bring the proof on test day.
- Academic/intelligence test. Multiple-choice test at an Army Selection and Recruitment Centre (AS&RC), on the date given during online registration.
- Initial medical test at the AS&RC.

How to Prepare for the Next DSSC Commission.
- Keep an NOC ready if you are in government service, and check that your CNIC is not expired.
- Check your marks early. The 62.5% / 2.5 CGPA rule and the “no 3rd Division, only one 2nd Division” rule are strict and cannot be fixed later.
- Practise the physical standards for weeks: 1.6 km in 9 minutes, push-ups, sit-ups and chin-ups. Chin-ups are the part many candidates neglect.
- Prepare for the multiple-choice test in your subjects: English, General Knowledge, Pakistan Studies, and basic Mathematics.
- Get your degrees verified by HEC (or PEC/PVMC) before the ad appears.
